Intuitive Films Rides Into Asia's Favourite Playground - Sentosa!

Intuitive Films has been appointed by Sentosa Development Corporation to produce a marketing video and TVC for the Sentosa Rider - an express shuttle service that brings visitors from the heart of the city right into Sentosa.

Apart from enjoying the convenience of boarding at the many designated bus stops, visitors can also purchase exclusive packages to the island's attractions onboard.

The marketing video is currently showcasing the Sentosa Rider to tourism partners in international trade shows. Meawnhile, the TVC is in post-production and will be targeted at tourists.

A highlights reel containing excerpts from the 20 Points-of-Interest (POIs) videos commissioned specially for the 1-Altitude Gallery. The videos feature popular attractions such as the Zoo, Night Safari, Jurong Bird Park, Raffles Hotel, The Fullerton, Sentosa, Singapore Flyer, Chinatown, Mount Faber, Fort Canning and Botanic Gardens. Utilizing innovative RFID technology, personal touchscreen devices allow each visitor to the 1-Altitude Gallery to not only take in a bird's eye view of the city but also, to go "into" and experience each unique tourist spot.

Singapore Youth Olympic Games 2010 - Documentaries at the Galleries

In addition to the eye-catching high-speed panorama 'Blazing the Trail', Intuitive Films also produced a number of intimate documentaries on the YOG.

Below are short extracts from the audio-video pieces specially commissioned for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore. First screened in the Olympic Gallery at the Suntec International Convention Centre.



This piece follows YOG triathlete, Scott Ang, as he shares intimate and personal thoughts about his passion and sacrifices in his pursuit for gold. We go through a typical day in his life where he balances training, studies, friends and family, as he prepares for the big games.



Part of the "Sports Interviews" series, this piece on male artistic gymnastics gives audiences more insight into both the physical and mental preparation of these competitive gymnasts.



Also part of the "Sports Interviews" series, this piece on the sport of equestrian riding gives audiences more insight into the sport of showjumping and competitive horseriding. Through interviews with athletes and coaches, audiences can learn more about sports which are not commonly played.

Intuitive Films also produced the audio-visuals for the YOG Village Gallery over at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU). This included the multi-screen panorama 'More Than Winning', which celebrated the values of the Games - Excellence, Friendship and Respect - as well as 'The Olympic Flame', a tribute to the Summer Olympic Games from its inception.

The audio-visual installations will become part of the permanent collection over at the Olympic Museum currently being set up at the Youth Olympic Games Learning Centre.

Singapore Youth Olympic Games 2010 - 'Blazing The Trail' [Phantom High Speed]

A short extract from an exciting audio-video installation specially commissioned for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games held in Singapore. Shot on the Phantom High-Speed Camera, with frame rates reaching 6200 fps, this AV captures the grace, power and beauty of the human body in motion.

Projected on a custom 8m by 2m canvas, the athletes are captured in super slow motion as they engage in the various sporting disciplines. The original 5.1 sound design creates a dynamic soundscape that surrounds audiences as the action spans the panoramic mural.

Catch the full video installation 'live' at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre (Suntec ICC), Level 3, exclusively from 15 to 25 August.

Intuitive Films Blazes To The Finishing Line with the Youth Olympic Games (YOG)

Intuitive Films is currently in the thick of the YOG action, having been appointed by the Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Community (SYOGOC) to produce all the audio-visual exhibits for the Youth Olympic Village (YOV) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the YOG Exhibition at Suntec International Convention And Exhibition Centre (Suntec ICC).

As part of the series of audio-visuals are two 8m x 1.5m multiscreen seamless projections which will greet athletes and visitors to the YOV and Suntec ICC. Other AV items include profiles on athletes participating in the first Youth Olympic Games and the history of the Olympic torch relay.

Look out for an exciting centerpiece that will be at the entrance of the Suntec ICC exhibition - the multiscreen projection combines arts and sports, with the grace and power of young athletes in action captured in super slow motion using the Phantom High Speed camera.

Intuitive Films Engages Teenagers On Sex & Smokes

Intuitive Films is once again commissioned by the Health Promotion Board (HPB) to produce a series of videos targeting teen smoking and teen pregnancy.

The teen smoking testimonial video is based on personal interviews with former teen smokers, some of whom got addicted as early as the age of 13. They share their struggles and eventual success with quitting, in order to motivate teenagers currently battling cigarette addiction.

'Nothing Will Happen' is a series of six drama vignettes that takes a poignant look at the possible pragmatic and emotional consequences of teen pregnancy. Trained facilitators will use the stories to jumpstart discussions with at-risk teenage girls.

Both videos are currently in the final stages of post-production and will be implemented in facilitation sessions soon.

Last year, Intuitive Films also worked with HPB to produce two videos targeted at teens: 'Live It Up Without Lighting Up!' which featured celebrities talking about being smoke-free and 'Choices', a drama on teen sexuality.

Intuitive Films Gets Bigger, Bolder & Stronger With Avocent

Following the successful implementation of the rebranding video, which communicated the acquisition by Emerson simply and humorously, Intuitive Films was invited by Avocent to create a sequel to the well-received campaign video. The client plans to build on the buzz generated by the original video to position themselves in the cloud computing arena.

The sequel will be reaching out to a larger international market that consists of the expanded customer base from Emerson. The video is currently in post-production and will involve more extensive animation and compositing than the first installment.

Intuitive Films Celebrates With The Class of 2010 @ Republic Polytechnic

Intuitive Film recently completed the Graduation Video that was screened at Republic Polytechnic's (RP) graduation ceremonies in May. The video features interviews with the graduating class, which resonated with the students while giving parents, guests and industry partners a peek into the unique learning environment and campus life in RP.

This is the second year Intuitive Films has worked with RP to commemorate their graduates' special day.

A promotional trailer/TVC for the upcoming Mandarin musical 'December Rains' 雨季, which is being staged in celebration of Toy Factory's 20th Anniversary.

This musical is about a pair of young lovers in 1950's & 1980's Singapore. The production is directed by Goh Boon Teck (吴文德) and created by Liang Wern Fook (梁文福), with music by Jimmy Ye (叶良俊). It also stars Kit Chan (陈洁仪), George Chan (田伟鸿) and Jeffrey Low (刘俊葳).
